The Highfive team were founded in 2002 where they were playing under the name euthanasia. About a year after in 2003 the team were chosen to represent the Unicon Gaming Cafe in Manchester. In this time they played at various LAN and online events in the UK and placed highly at all and even winning a few. After a year of playing under the name of the Unicon Gaming Cafe and becoming one of the best teams in the UK; Unicon unfortunately closed its doors meaning the team had to make it on there own. Soon after the team decided to change name and become Highfive. Highfive now been going for over a year and are still at the top of gaming in the UK and still attending every LAN event possible
