As announced recently, we planned a small Call of Duty: World at War Beta 2v2 cup. Due to lack of signups we was not able to go ahead with the cup and all participants were informed.

If you fancy yourself as quite a hand FIFA player and want to get some practice in, the EAS could be right up your alley. The EAS is the ESL Amateur Series and is aimed at providing a gaming platform for players to sharpen their skills, practice their footwork and have some fun. The EAS is a drop in/drop out league, in other words you can join and leave at any time if you so wish.

We are delighted to announce that we are now looking to expand the ESL UK admin team. ESL UK has undergone major changes in the last couple of months, with a new National Head Joe Fenda, who is responsible for all of the ESL UK portal.

Call of Duty 5 is upon us and ESL UK will be hosting a 16 team single elimination tournament in the latest instalment of the popular FPS. Battle will commence on Sunday 9th November and ensue for three days until a winner is revealed on Wednesday 12th November.

All the Global Challenges are now over, hence the slot distribution for the Global Final is finalized. Europe claims the most, while Americas settles one extra, and Asia is still working with their automatically given ones. However, with a total absence of Asian teams and a majority of the professional European teams flying all over the world, the distribution might not be as unfair as it tend to look.

For those who think the departure of a team from the league means potential money out of the window, think again. We want to clarify what happens when teams receive major penalty points or depart from the EPS.
