Qualification is complete! In a couple of weeks the third season of the ESL Major Series will fully begin with the Groupstage. First, the two Qualifying Rounds must take place. See inside for all the details regarding this season including the draw for Qualifying Round 1.

The second season of the CGS comes to an exciting conclusion tonight as Kat Hunter's San Francisco Optx take on the pride of the brits in the Birmingham Salvo. The two teams will battle for the championship trophy and the grand prize of $500,000.

Today at 8:00 pm ESL TV will broadcast the final of the CS:S ESL Major Series between the German mTw and the French team of emuLate. The winner of this match will take home 1.500 Euros while the runner up will still get 900 euro. It looks like a promising match since mTw went through the competition undefeatet and emuLate took down the German champion ALTERNATE aTTaX.

With the Games Convention 2008 also this year's ENC Finals are approaching. In Counter-Strike: Source Germany and Slovakia qualified directly for the Finals. The relegation results are certain aswell now. Reason enough for us to have a closer look at the fixtures and the possible consequences.

Po dosť zle spravenom nasadení pre prvý ročník ENC sme museli hrať prvé kolo. Dominanciu a úlohu favorita sme potvrdili. Dostali sme sa cez všetky kvalifikačné kolá bez prehry a stratili len jednu mapu proti Holandsku. Cieľ, ktorý dal tímu hlavný manažér Slovenskej reprezentácie sa splnil.

Today we are proud to announce that the European Nations Championship is once again starting in four games. With Counter-Strike 1.6, Warcraft 3, FIFA 08 and our new addition Counter-Strike:Source the season 2008 will also have the source community to see a nations tournament that has proven it's importance in the last years. We are looking to a successful season with CS:S as the perfect upgrade for both community and players.
