Finally, the qualification for the Intel® Extreme Masters II has been opened. Now is the time to explain how a CS team or a WC3 player can qualify for the Intel® Extreme Masters II. We have made the sign up system as easy as possible so it takes a minimum of effort for you to have a chance to compete in this great event.

The signup period is over, signups have been accepted, matches and brackets have been created - it's time for some action! The players will fight for the swedish slots in the Extreme Masters Qualifer and their chance for a part of the 160.00 prize money of the Extreme Masters. The tournament will be played in double elemination with best of 3. The second and last Swedish LAN qualifier will be held this weekend at the LAN café Gamers Paradise in Stockholm, Sweden. 8 teams have been selected to participate in the event.

Two Swedish qualifiers are over. Two teams, SK, NiP have moved on to the main round of Extreme Masters. Fnatic got a spot to the International qualifier via an online qualifier. Tonight the last stage will be played in the second and final online qualifier.

During the weekend the first LAN final at Gamers Paradise in Sweden was played. The top seeded NiP went out on top as the overall winner. Three of Swedens best teams, NiP, Fnatic and SK have qualified to Extreme Masters.

On September 9 at 9 am CET the first Swedish Extreme Masters LAN qualifier will be held at Gamers Paradise, Stockholm. The second LAN qualifier will be held next weekend, starting on September 16. The winners of the qualifiers will advance to the Extreme Masters main event. The first Swedish spot was won by SK.swe during the Games Convetion in Leipzig the other week. Who will join them?

The application period is over for the first online qualifier and we already have a winner. They where the only team to send in a fully filled out application form and thus claim a spot for Sweden Counter-Strike.
