All changes:

• New: Added the "Ad-Hoc Gaming" feature.
• New: The newsfeed can be enabled/disabled via the tray menu.
• New: Now it's possible to drag'n'drop gathers into the lobby-chat.
• Fix: Reduced the polling frequency for the gather and match lists.
• Fix: The gather list is now only updated when it's actually visible.
• Fix: The sender of a chat message was sometimes shown as "unknown".
• Fix: Improved the automatic selection of the active network interface.
• Fix: Improved the flood protection in the lobby chat.

However, the current version is still in Beta stage and shouldn't be used in a "productive" environment! ESL Wire should only be used to test the current functionality - it still may contain bugs and lead to problems. The following issues have changed since Beta-2 (0.4.0.1761):

• Fix: ESL Wire's VPN driver had a conflict on some systems (caused a blue screen at system startup).
• Fix: Improved support for multicore CPUs (caused a blue screen under heavy network load).
• Fix: ESL Wire caused an exception, when the local IP address was broken.
• Fix: Long messages within the lobby chat freezed the chatroom.
• Fix: Chat accepted empty messages.
• Fix: ESL Wire session timed out after some period of user inactivity.
• Fix: Some maps were not shown in certain ladders.
• Fix: Portmapping test failed when certain third party virtual network adapters were present (including TV cards).
• Fix: User inside a chatroom was sometimes shown as "unknown".
• Fix: Chatserver kicked users with special characters in their nicknames.
• Fix: Users with empty buddy lists were unable to log into the chatserver.
• Fix: Error message was shown during gather rating ("You're not logged in!").
• Fix: Server password was shown in gather (without the gather actually been started).
• New: Instant chat is only available to buddies or users inside a lobby (privacy feature).
• New: Added support for Trackmania Nations Forever.

The next step in the ESL Wire Beta is not only meant to provide us with a larger of users the chance to see ESL Wire working but also to test the technical back end and performance use. So not every user will get access immediately. As soon as you register for the Open Beta you will be lined up in the queue for the next spot. When it's your turn to test ESL Wire, you will get an E-Mail with all the information you need and the link to download ESL Wire. At the moment only ESL Premium Members will have access to the beta. But of course ESL Wire will not be a premium only feature.

While the state of the current ESL Wire release is quite impressive, please remember that it is still in beta stage. We will add new and change the current features. We are looking forward to your feedback and reviews to make ESL Wire into what you would like it to be.
