Season XIV Preview

NoWAYouT is another qualifier team that wasn't supposed to be in the WC3L, destiny however still wanted them in the Season XIV and here they are. Supported by Sting and Sonik along with back up in the form of Ghost, who has become even more impressive in recent online outings, the roster of nWo seems to have the right mix of talent and dedication to compete in the WC3L.

Man on the Spot: KPECT

While Sting is normally the overall favorite in any clanwar to win, it's KPECT who has scored consistent wins in the solos and 2on2s, where he partners with fAstClick54. KPECT has been somewhat of an enigmatic undead player from Russia, who has always been in the shadows of Happy. This season could see him achieve superstar status if he keeps doing the right moves.

Coach's Corner: nWo.Markus

So let's have a look on what the manager of nWo, Markus, thinks about his first season in the WC3L:

WC3L.Lychee: Hi Markus, what are your aims for this season?

nWo.Markus: Well this is our first season in the WC3L and I believe our main aim is to have a top ten finish and try to avoid a possible direct relegation. I believe this is something we've really working hard for.

WC3L.Lychee: What do you think of the competiton?

nWo.Markus: This season of the WC3L I believe the playing field is split into two kinds of teams, on one hand we have the elite teams of MYM, SK, mTw, etc and they are really the cream of WC3 now, on the other hand we have teams like Alternate, Raptor and us who are playing on the same level, it will be a tough season for all teams because teams like ours want to prove our worth and beat the best!

WC3L.Lychee: What do you think are your team's strengths and weaknesses?

nWo.Markus: If I had to list our strengths I'd say our team spirit is the biggest plus we have, we always play like one team and are always talking to each other and trying to make the players who lost feel good or for the guys who won make them feel like repeating their wins. Our weakness would be our inexperience on this level for our players and management, it's going to be a learning experience for all of us.

WC3L.Lychee: You have introduced some German players in your lineup, why did you do it and what are your expectations from them?

nWo.Markus: Glad you noticed ! We want to give our German players more experience and international exposure and help them develop their skills in international leagues like NGL, WPL and WC3L.

WC3L.Lychee: Thank you for the interview! Any final words?

nWo.Markus: nWo fighting!
