First of all we have to explain the date issues to you. As the STC5 Final is on 26th of October we decided to delay the beginning of the ESL Premiership Season II. Normally we wanted to play the Relegations for the Third League 2nd teams from last season, but as one team signed in tonight we don't need them. Now you have some spare time to train the maps a bit more.

The ESL Premiership Season II will start at the 2nd of November
We come to this date because we have a good brake between groupstage and playoffs now, called: Christmas and New Year Brake. The 7th and last playday of the groupstage will be on the 14th of December. The Playoffs and Relegations will be in the new year.

To be fair we do not draw out the maps now. We will give you the maps for each match one week before the season starts on 25th of October. Of course you can train all the seven maps which are played.

Wildcards

There is only one possibility to join the Premiership: With the Team Rounds Ladder. Well there was just one possibility. We decided to design another one. Pretty good teams are able to join the Second League of the ESL Premiership directly by wildcard. This season we decided to give the following four teams a wildcard to join the ESL Premiership Season II Second League.

There were hard fights until the end. All in all 16 teams are able to join the Premiership Season II Third League now. They were the best and we can see: Just 2 matches won were enough to join. Therefore we decided not to change the Qualification System for the next season until now. Here the final ranking:
