1. Register player

To participate in ladders, cups, etc in the Electronic Sports League you have to be registered on the esl.eu site. To register an account click the "Register Player" link in the top left corner.







After clicking on the link you will see the following form where you will have to enter your personal details and submit the form by clicking on "send".



Shortly after submitting your detail you will receive an email with an "activation link". When using this link you can enter a password and finalise your registration.

When your account has been registered and you are logged in on the website you need to make sure other players and teams can contact you. That is why it is important to add some contact details to your profile page. Click on the "Command Center" link in the top left corner to go to one of the most important pages of your account.






Under the "Edit Data" link you will find a form to change your personal details.



Here you have the possibility to add more personal information. If you want to have this information available to the other users of the esl.eu site you will have to check the "available" box. To participate in ladders, cups etc you are obligated to have at least one form of contact available to the public ( irc, Live Messenger , ICQ ).



To connect to IRC you will need a client, the most popular is mIRC which you can find at mIRC.com. To connect to the right network, quakenet, please visit Quakenet.org for more information. Once connected to quakenet you can find the esl IRC channel at #esl.
