The group stage of the ESL European Nations Championship has finally been completed and now it is time to begin preparations for the Offline LAN finals.

The four group winners, for both Counter-Strike and WarCraft III, have been confirmed and have been given places to attend the Offline LAN finals later this summer. These countries are:

Counter-Strike:

• United Kingdom
• Austria
• Finland
• Greece

WarCraft III:

• France
• Denmark
• Sweden
• Bulgaria

Also, a series of playoff matches must be played in both Counter-Strike and WarCraft III in order to decide which other teams will be invited to play at the finals. These countries are:

Counter-Strike:

• Netherlands
• Spain
• Denmark
• Germany
• Sweeden
• Norway
• Slovakia
• Czech

WarCraft III:

• Netherlands
• Italy
• Germany
• Poland
• Ukraine
• Norway
• Greece
• Serbia and Montenegro

These matches will be drawn on Thursday 8th July 2004 via a live ESL TV broadcast. This is a free programme and will be filled up very quicky! It is advisable to get signed up as soon as possible! Expect a fantastic show with lots of statistics and facts for all of the teams involved, as well as the thrill of a live draw!

The broadcast will be presented by ESL's very own Alex "Maddog" Albrecht and Nik "VincentVega" Adams, and it will be directed by Torsten "torte" Schmitz.
