After a recent rulesupdate and the new 1.2 patch there are coming up again some changes. Specally the way, how matchresults will be valued. In the past you only won a round by making the most damage to the opponents headquarter. Throuth this a team needed just to hit one time the opponents base to win the round. There for we decided, the remaining percent of your HQ becomes the roundresult.

The sommer is approaching very fast and it’s againg time for some cups, rule- and mapupdates. There for we are proud to announce the first Spring Cup on the Crysis-section, which will be held on 3on3 PowerStruggle. As this year the european football championchip takes place in Swizerland and Austria, we decided to make a 16-slots cup, based on groupestages.

Sign up is closed and we are glad to have 64 contestans on this IA 1on1 cup. The first matches of round one should be played tomorrow night. We would like to remind you that all matches have to be played on punkbuster-server. Further on the international Crysis-ladders Gauss and LAW-rocketlauncher are still allowed, which counts as well for this cup.

Now it's time for the creative ones and mappers among the Crysis communtiy. Intel® just announced the 'Intel® Crysis® Mapping Contest' that everyone can take part in. Big prizes by Intel® are waiting for you if you put enough effort in this task and complete the assignments. So speed up, get your assignments and go for the limited Crysis computers!

Today we annouce our first cup for 2008, which is focused on Instant action and will start on 26th January. The registration has just started and will end on the 25th. The cup is limited to 32 slots so be fast and join now.

Finally the first Crysis patch is out! Crytek just released the update, which brings the game to version 1.1. It fixes a few bugs on the multiplayer and some tweaks on the gameplay. Further the patch promise better performance for DX9 and DX10 rendering.

Crytek joined a few solutions from a lot of forums of Crysis fan site. Here a summary of these solutions most of the time due when you uninstall the MP Beta/SP Demo after you have installed the full version of Crysis your CD-Key might get removed accidentally. Please note that may not work but they have been helpful to many out there already.

Yesterday, in a mail to community fan sites, Alexander Marschall (Community Manager of Crytek) announced some great news for people who haven't the beta yet ! Some beta impressions coming out soon ?

For those who didn't got the chance to join the Crysis beta till now, Crytek has published a tutorial video about the new gametype "power struggle", which is a mix of UT's onslaught and Battlefield. The video will give you a basic run down of Power Struggle and introduce the different kind of objectives during a match.

Just a fews days a go Gamespot has published 2 ingame-videos, which show cool features of the Cryengine 2 and some details about the kind of grafic-shaders used.

As some of you may already know the new first person shooter CRYSIS of Crytek and Electronic Arts will be released soon. The single player demo is already coming at the 25th of September and we are expecting in the next weeks the multiplayer beta version.
