Within the last weeks we saw a lot of matches played without the required Anti-Cheat Tool Aequitas. This had consequences for the teams and the players. We were forced to give a lot of penalty points and to delete these matches. This is not in yours and our sense we think. Your Admin-Team will see a lot of regular matches and eventually happy players. In a meeting we came to the decision that we must update some rules. Study this updated rules very explicitly. All matches which were played without the required Anti-Cheat Tool will be deleted by the admins.

It has been one of the most noticed tournaments in the Call of Duty 2 section of the Electronic Sports League. After countless matches between many well-known teams, we have finally found the one, that was able to constantly play on their best level.

"Alea iacta est" - "The die is cast". In a highly dramatic match nGize could gain the victory over the Spanish opponent e.mind and move into the final of the ESL major Series. We are in suspense on Wednesday night, who will win the desired champions trophy. Last Sunday evening it came to the decision which team would move into the overall final. Both opponents show a fierce fight in which the team nGize won by a nose. We now already have one team for the winner pedestal. We congratulate the Spanish representative e.mind for reaching the third place.

Tomorrow nGize or e.Mind get the last chance to slide into the overall final to fight for the first place trophy money. It would be a bitter struggle against these two teams.

Tomorrow, we'll have yet two another exciting matches in our program. In the winner bracket we have nGize vs. GUMMI and in the loser bracket KomaCrew faces e.mind. One team from the loser bracket will definitely have to go home, while the winner from the winner bracket is automatically qualified for the overall final.

Only six contestants are left in the Call of Duty 2 ESL Major Series Season I Playoffs, four of them in the loser bracket. Today two of them will have to beat a retreat. Who will it be? We will see!

After many exciting matches, the groupstage of the first EMS is over. Normally the best 8 teams proceed to the playoffs. However since one team had to be disqualified, there will be only 7 teams this time.

This will be the last day of play in the group stage. The first two teams of each group will proceed to the final round, which will consist of 8 teams. These teams will then play for the overall win.

Shortly after the release of the new Call Of Duty part, we have to take first losses in CoD2. The first victim of this new hype is the Capture the Flag 3on3 ladder. Due to high inactivity it will be closed.

Playday 1 left a rather pastiness impression. There were a few teams that don't even appeared in the first round. So we saw a disappointing high rate of default wins. We can refer that to the release of Call of Duty 4. Many former Call of Duty 2 players don't feel like playing their game anymore. Even if there are some nice prices to win.

After we closed the qualifier succesfully there are 16 teams left that are one step closer to their goal to reach the finals or even win the ESL Major Series. There are four nice groups, each with four teams in it which promise definitely some exciting fights.

By today the ESL Aequitas Client becomes obligatory in every Call of Duty 2 EU Ladder and the ESL Major Series. As we have announced in the last news there will also return the smoke grenade. For more details and information read further.

The whole community looks at Call of Duty 4. Everybody is excited what the new part will bring. But there are still some nice Call of Duty 2 competitions left like the ESL Major Series. We reached the group stage and now there are some guidelines you should keep in mind.

After a few weeks of playing the ESL Major Series Season 1 Qualifier is finished. We have three teams that secured their tickets for the EMS by reaching rank one, two and three. They've successfully mastered the first stage of the tournament.

After three weeks of playing we have at last arrived at the final. After Team Empire has beaten eXplosive and thus won the loser bracket, they will take on dtekt, who wait in the winner bracket.

Today we only have one match in the loser bracket. On 20.00 CET, Dark Passage takes on Team Empire. The winner of this match will then play against explosive, who lost their last game against dtekt.

Tomorrow, the fifth play of day awaits us with 3 exciting matches. Who will proceed to the next round and who will have to go to the loser bracket?

It's late, but it's coming after all. On November 11th, just a few days before the EMS starts, ESL Aequitas will be established in all Call of Duty 2 Ladders. Along with it the smoke grenade will be reintroduced.

This evening there will be the fourth Playday in the European ESL Major Series Qualifier. Today only 2 match will be played. Four teams fight at the loser braket to obtain the next the round. Only two teams can continues their dreams to obtain one of the 2 slots for the ESL Major Series Endround and get a handful of prize money. So lets get the matches started! Good luck to all teams.

This evening there will be the third Playday in the European ESL Major Series Qualifier. At the Loser bracket four teams fights against to be knocked out from this tournament. So it would be a hard fight for them. The other four teams fight for having a relax weekend with a gaming pause. So lets get the matches started!

This evening there will be the second Playday in the European ESL Major Series Qualifier. For quite a lot teams this is the real first match of the Qualifier because there aren't as much teams in here. The map for this round will be Matmata and so we got some quite interesting matches, where the winner isn't predictable. So lets get the matches started!

There will be some changes for the Call Of Duty 2 European Qualifier. The number for the participants has been changed, as well as the sign up time.

Why do all good things come to an end? To be replaced by even better ones. The EMS CoD² EU Qualifier that was at the same time the IPS Finals has been finished and will soon be followed by the ESL Major Series. Two teams got directly the slots to that event. Called Team Speed-Link and Tek-9 Networks.

Some time ago, we informed you about our 4on4 TDM ladder and its inactivity. We are glad to inform you, that the activity has indeed grown since then. So the ladder will remain, however we decided to modify it a little.

Almost all matches in the European EMS Qualifier have been played. Just one last is still open. We talk about the grand final. It is set up for tonight 9:00pm CET. The winner will come directly into the ESL Major Series.

Finally all preparations for the European Qualifiers of the ESL Major Series have been done. The international contestants will fight hard for a total of four Slots for the EMS. But read more about the requirements for this spectacular tournament.

This evening there will be the first of the final decisions in the European ESL Major Series Qualifier. This evening there will be a fierce battle between two rivals - a battle for the participation in the final match and thus for one of the EMS slots.

Slowly it gets exciting in the EMS International Qualifier of Call of Duty 2. The third round starts tonight at 9:00pm. Just four teams are left now, two of them in the winner bracket. So we will see some professional matches from without question top class teams in the near future.

The ESL is thinking about closing the 4on4 Team-Deathmatch ladder. Whether it will be closed for good or not is up to the community.
